Brother Tee Sing (top picture) preached God’s words to us on Sunday June 27, 2010 at the English Evening English Service on “doing good”, taken from Acts 9:36-43. He concluded by reminding us of the Word of our Lord Jesus in Matthew 5:16, “In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.” Brother Tee Sing encouraged us by saying that an act of goodness that we do today can come back to us or someone that we love, when we are not expecting it. If we do not see this act of goodness returned, at least we will have made a difference in this world. “And in the end, isn’t that what life is all about?”.
Brother Tee Sing left us with the following quote, i.e., “Peace keeps you sweet; Trials keep you strong; Sorrows keep you human; Failures keep you humble; Hope keeps you glowing; but only the Grace of God keeps you going!”
Pictures left also show part of the congregation at the English Evening Service on 27th June 2010 at 6.00 p.m. We praise the Lord for the steady increase in the number of believers joining our service and most of whom have also steadily taken up various ministries in the Church. Praise the Lord.
THE ORDINATION OF PASTOR BIOS SOLINGKIN on 4th July 2010 at SIB Likas at 10.30 a.m.
SIBmetro Church praise and give thanks to God that after two years of waiting, Pastor Bios Solingkin will finally be ordained officially as a Pastor of the SIB Church Sabah by the President of the SIB Church, Sabah and its leadership. The Ordination Ceremony will be held on 4th July 2010 at the SIB Likas Church at Likas, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah at 10.30 a.m.
To support Ps Bios’ ordination, the SIB Metro Church will cancel all its church services on Sunday, 4th July 2010 and will attend the SIB Likas Church Service at 10.30 a.m. in conjunction with the Ordination of Ps Bios.
