All Glory, Honour and Praise we give to the Lord Almighty for the successful Festival of Praise No. 4 held on 28th May 2010.

The afternoon was dampen by the rain which stopped an hour before the commencement. We knew for sure that may Pastors, Church leaders and Christians all over the world were praying for us. The Borneo Praise Music and the SIB Metro worship team performed beautifully under the anointing of the Holy Spirit. Ps John William preached a tremendous message of “merdeka” (“liberation”). Ps Bios Solingkin was at his best in reaching out to the 500 over youths that gathered at the Maksak Hall at Likas, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.

Testimonies are being heard of how the Holy Spirit has set many free in Jesus Name that night. The Festival of Praise 4 was recorded live and DVD and CD will be available for sale very soon. Picture left (bottom) : Brother Hiew Chee Fah – Setting Your Priority Right

Brother Hiew preached a practical sermon on Sunday English Evening Service on 30th May 2010. He began by sharing with us the necessity of being stressed by work. Work is a blessing and not a curse. Because it is a blessing, we enjoy it (Ps 90:17). However, work is not the priority even though it is the something that stressed us most and gave us the impression as the top priority of things to do.

Brother Hiew insists that the followings are priorities:

Family – whatever happens to a person’s private life at home affects the public life. How can anyone manage the family of God is he cannot manage his own family, he quoted 1 Timothy 3:4,5.

Health – we must take care of our health and the priority thing that guarantee health is food according to Genesis 1:29.

Friends – Brother Hiew asked, “which side are you on?” We must have the right friends and we need good friends. Caution: James 4:4.

Spirit – we must let God breathe His spirit into our life daily. His practical approach is based on 2 Timothy 3:16. The Bible gives us wisdom, gives us understanding and knowledge. This final element is the most important thing in our life, it is the Word of God that God breathes into our lives through the Holy Spirit that help us to set out priority right in family, in health and friends. Work is a blessing to keep our life busy and joyful. Wrong priority in work, family, health and friends will lead us into stressful circumstance. Choose wisdom.
